Book Club

Today was Bethany’s favorite day: book club. Chairs scraped across the floor, dishes clanked, and papers rustled as the small horde gathered themselves in a comfortable circle around Midtown Library’s coziest meeting room. They had been gathering for several years now and had read all kinds of books. One year was all crime thrillers. Bethany had trouble sleeping that year. Another was historical fiction and she learned a lot of pseudo-history that she had to unlearn. This year was new, this year was special. This year was romantasy. Bethany enjoyed reading, but she didn’t know she could enjoy reading this much. Romantasy had it all! Twisty mysteries, lore, magic and fantasy, and, of course, romance. Bethany had first been confused when another book club member explained something called the “chili pepper scale” but now she was an expert. She kept up with all the most popular authors and eagerly anticipated new releases. This month they were reading Burned by the Dragon at her suggestion. Bethany settled into her chair, picked up a chocolate chip cookie, and opened her copy to chapter 7, eager for the discussion to begin.

Please note that, due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, no two skeins of yarn will be exactly alike. I recommend alternating skeins every few rows for projects using multiple skeins of the same colorway. If you order multiple skeins of the same colorway, I will do my best to select skeins that are the closest match.

I dye each skein with professional acid dyes and leave the yarn in the dye bath until the dye has exhausted before rinsing and soaking in wool wash. Minor color bleeding may occur on the first wash, especially with extremely dark colors.

Although I do my best to accurately represent each colorway in product photos, please note that the colors may vary depending on monitor and/or device settings.
