Sangria

Citrus fruits were strewn like bright jewels across Clara’s counter. She grabbed an orange and sliced into it, juice dripping from the fruit onto her cutting board, and admonished herself for not having done this the night before. It would have been better for the fruit to have extra time to steep, but a few hours before her guests’ arrival would have to do. Clara finished slicing the remaining oranges, lemons, and limes and threw them into the glass pitcher on the counter along with a few strawberries for good measure. Work had been so stressful lately and she was looking forward to spending the summer afternoon with her friends. She ran through her party prep list in her head. Snacks? Check. Music? Check. Now, where had she put that bottle of wine? She rummaged through her pantry, found the bottle of merlot, and emptied it into the pitcher. In a few hours’ time, she’d be enjoying it on her deck in the warm sunshine.

Please note that, due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, no two skeins of yarn will be exactly alike. I recommend alternating skeins every few rows for projects using multiple skeins of the same colorway. If you order multiple skeins of the same colorway, I will do my best to select skeins that are the closest match.

I dye each skein with professional acid dyes and leave the yarn in the dye bath until the dye has exhausted before rinsing and soaking in wool wash. Minor color bleeding may occur on the first wash, especially with extremely dark colors.

Although I do my best to accurately represent each colorway in product photos, please note that the colors may vary depending on monitor and/or device settings.
