Light fluttered through the small pane window as Princess Jaylene’s eyes fluttered open. As the stillness of sleep ebbed away, the memories of last night came flooding back. Had Cassian really said those things to her? The way he whispered in her ear, she felt a tingle go up her spine again. Lady Daphne entered her chamber, making soft rustling noises as she laid out her clothing for the day. A powder blue dress and satin slippers. “This dress will bring out your eyes for Prince Harald’s return today,” Daphne quietly said. Oh right, Harald. Her betrothed. A mighty dragonrider and fearsome warrior. He was strong and handsome and she knew he would make the most sensible consort. But did he ever make her eyes sparkle or her cheeks flush the way Cassian had last night? She got out of bed and gazed out the window. Harald would be expected to have killed at least two dragons in his latest expedition. Behind her, Lady Daphne smoothed and tidied the ivory satin sheets. Jaylene took a deep breath and tried to push thoughts of Cassian out of her mind.

Please note that, due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, no two skeins of yarn will be exactly alike. I recommend alternating skeins every few rows for projects using multiple skeins of the same colorway. If you order multiple skeins of the same colorway, I will do my best to select skeins that are the closest match.

I dye each skein with professional acid dyes and leave the yarn in the dye bath until the dye has exhausted before rinsing and soaking in wool wash. Minor color bleeding may occur on the first wash, especially with extremely dark colors.

Although I do my best to accurately represent each colorway in product photos, please note that the colors may vary depending on monitor and/or device settings.
